Vision Statement:

"We pledge to inspire those we protect, and to serve our district and community with dedication. We will lead the way with strong guidance and compassion to pave the road for future success while striving to make a difference in the lives of our students and staff."

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Red Oak ISD Police Department is to protect the safety and welfare of all students, faculty, staff and parents who are on ROISD properties. The department is dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence in a safe environment, thus allowing all to Reach Our Individual Student's Dreams.

The Police Department of the Red Oak Independent School District provides a full array of police services to our school community. Our staff is highly trained and qualified to provide various services including prevention, intervention, and law enforcement with a focus on creating a safe learning environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Our officers demonstrate exceptional professionalism in their interaction with students and staff. The officers are fully certified Texas Peace Officers who have the same authority of other local law enforcement officers.

New Badges for Red Oak ISD Police:

The Red Oak ISD Police Department was recently presented with new badges. The officers have worn the same style badge since the Department’s inception in 2001. They recently unveiled a new uniform patch design and the new badge. The badge includes the State of Texas inlaid with the Lone Star Flag with color added for the thin blue line and a small maroon star geographically placed for Red Oak ISD. Badges are an integral part of any law enforcement agency. Along with the ROISD Police Department’s rebranding of the patch and badge, they also began the tradition of assigning badge numbers to each officer. Chief Denney stated, “Each of the officers received a badge number based on their seniority within this Department. These numbers will continue consecutively with no numbers being repeated.” Police departments use uniforms, patches, and badges not only as a way to build identity to their particular agency but to also quickly distinguish officers from other law enforcement agencies.
